Suzan brushed this using a technique of loading her brush so that she could express shading in a single stroke. The leaves  add a sense of movement and life to the composition as if being blown by the wind. Brushed below the bamboo is a large character for "wind." Suzan's seal in red is placed in the bottom right corner adding a touch of color to this otherwise traditional sumi ink painting. The overall composition is balanced and harmonious, embodying the simplicity and grace characteristic of traditional East Asian art. This print comes flat in a supported sleeve and is ready to be framed and hung. It will bring a sense of calmness to any room in which it hangs.
